Set in 2004, the story follows billionaire industrialist (Lance Henriksen), who discovers a mysterious heat signal buried deep beneath the Antarctic ice. He assembles a team of experts—including guide Alexa Woods (Sanaa Lathan) and archaeologist Sebastian De Rosa—to investigate an ancient pyramid that appears to pre-date Egyptian and Aztec cultures.
