Yohei Takemura’s art is crisp and dynamic. The action scenes are fluid, clearly communicating the scale of the monsters and the speed of the Anti-Demon Corps. The character designs are distinct, particularly the members of the different squads.

Chained Soldier is not for everyone. It runs in Shonen Jump+ , so while it is "shonen," it pushes the boundary of the demographic. If you dislike fan service or the "master/slave" dynamic (even if consensual in context), this will likely turn you off.
