God of War 3 takes place in a world where Greek mythology and history collide. The game follows Kratos, the Ghost of Sparta, as he navigates the Olympus against the Olympian gods. Kratos' quest for revenge against Zeus, King of the Gods, drives the narrative forward, leading to an epic showdown between the two.
