Teased on his official Instagram in October 2024, Madhu Babu’s next major novel, The Salt Prince , is slated for release in March 2025. According to the early blurb, it is a historical fiction piece set during the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War. The protagonist is a double agent who smuggles salt (a metaphor for hope) across borders. If the pre-order numbers are any indication, this will be the biggest launch of his career.
