Boso's passion for art and helping others didn't stop there. She went on to initiate more community projects, such as painting murals in public schools and creating awareness campaigns on social issues affecting her community.
As a young , Boso confronts entrenched gender norms that still linger in many Filipino households. While her mother encourages her studies, there is an unspoken expectation that she will later assume caregiving responsibilities— pag‑alaga —for younger siblings and aging grandparents.
