Open the Japanese PDF in Google Drive or Adobe Acrobat. Use a split-screen view with Google Translate (Camera mode or Document mode). While tedious, the wiring diagrams and button layouts are universal. A Japanese manual tells you which button to press; you just need to know where it is.
