Newer Android versions have strict scoped storage. If PixelLab does not have "Manage All Files" permission, it may open the PLP file in a sandboxed viewer without edit capabilities.

Go to your device Settings > Apps > PixelLab > Permissions. Ensure "Storage" or "Files and Media" is set to "Allow." If available, enable "All files access."
