Set in 1971 London, the film is inspired by the true story of the Baker Street robbery. It follows Terry Leather (Statham), a car dealer who is persuaded by an old friend to rob a bank vault. What starts as a simple heist quickly spirals into a complex web of corruption involving MI5, corrupt police officers, and the British Royal Family, as the safe deposit boxes contain more than just money.
